FUN! SCENERY! HISTORY!

Enjoy a Santa Fe Southern Railway day trip, night train, holiday or special events train, rambling along in vintage coaches with family and friends through High Desert scenery. We currently run on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The 129 year-old rail spur from Lamy to Santa Fe, the 1920s railcars, and the old Santa Fe Depot combine to create an irreplaceable link to our City's colorful past.

Every year, thousands of visitors come to ride the train along the original route that carried early tourist adventurers, settlers, artists and scientists into the city. Join us--be a part of living history!

How'd the Wildlife Train Do?
On Saturday, May 29 our scenic train met with winged ambassadors from the wild world. In the Lamy Park, passengers got up close and personal with a Peregrine Falcon, a Burrowing Owl, and a Great Horned Owl, plus learned lots from the handlers.
