Every year Santa Fe Southern trains host numerous school groups from all over the state. Informational and just plain fun, the children (and adults!) learn about the history of the railroad in New Mexico and in particular, about the tracks and equipment which link Santa Fe to the "main line" 18-miles south. Special scheduling is required to book a school group.
